Time
Are you a caring person who would like to offer telephone support from your own home, for those in need?
We are always looking for suitable volunteers to provide our services. Listening Ear volunteers enjoy friendship, personal growth and educational opportunities for self and indirectly for family and friends with their increased knowledge and awareness of community needs.
Professional support
We frequently engage with professional service providers in the course of our work. If you are a medical professional or expert in the areas of mental health, community care or public support, we welcome any services you are able to provide as a guest speaker at our workshops. We also require assistance from people with administration, public relations, marketing or accounting skills. If you are willing to help, please contact us.
Money
Listening Ear is a not-for-profit organisation 100% run and funded by volunteers. Donations from the community are crucial to our success and very much appreciated. All donations to us as a registered charity are fully tax-deductible and help us to continue to deliver the best possible service to our callers. Any bequests, large or small, would have a huge impact on our ability to be able to deliver our service to the community.
